Church Birdhouse Wreath, 2 Mushroom Birdies Old Thick GrapeVines, curlicues, Woodland, Flowers, Vines, Lilac Steeple, Purple Roof, twine It took many years for some of these grapevines to the grow this thick. This is a very natural Rustic Wreath. I bent all this while it was fresh. It is strong & will stay that way. Sitting wreath measures 9 " wide. Genuine old growth curlicues extend another 3 inches on all sizes. Very Pale Lilac Steeple is 12"tall. I tied it with natural jute twine. The wreath around church has a tulle & rope bottom to keep everything in as it has little pieces of Spanish moss, two 1" + birds, plus 12 other things are glued to wreath. It is strong & hardy for shelf sitting. These vines grow on the back of my property. I made the Duplex birdhouse out of a small box, cut holes & covered with paper added moss, birds, tiniest handmade wreath below cardinal. Then added more Spanish moss, , flat fan , artificial flowers, vines, morning glories, babies breath, & leaves. Summer flowers and mountain peaks grace this art quilt fabric wall hanging . Blue, yellow and red flowers lead to grass which is nestled below the tree line. I then transitioned the image into summer pine trees, and up into dark green mountains topped with snow. A bright blue sky completes the image. I used a dark blue fabric for the small inner border and the larger outside border is a green fabric. Small rings are sewn at the top back for hanging. These art pages are 9"x9" and fit beautifully in a 10"by10" frame or canvas which will leave 1/2" border on all sides. Each piece is designed and centered around a certain theme/look/feel/ etc....with a blank photo mat or two so all you need to do is add your photo. The size photo the mat will hold is written on the blank white removable insert on each mat. I use mixed media paper to create the artwork and back it on a piece of cardboard. I then reinforce it by attaching it to a piece of corrugated cardboard. This will make it sturdy and able to stand in an easel on a table, dresser, or stand. I love mixed media and try a variety of techniques. None of these pieces of art look alike. My inspiration comes from my surroundings at any given time and my inner feelings come through while I'm working in my studio.
