Beach House is part of my In Starlight series of mixed media works. This piece is meticulously hand cut from vintage paper and includes embroidery elements. The work is collage and thread on heavyweight paper, with archival adhesive. Elegant, heavyweight stock is treated with multiple layers of varnish and tints to match shades of the chosen photograph. The photo is then transferred onto this processed background then enhanced. Varied ink movements, brushing and varnishing create the final rich effect.   Flat art work size about 8X10†ready to hang including white frame size 13X 17 X 1.25†.
