This listing is for four vintage green CUSTOM Word Pears...YOU PICK THE WORDS YOU WANT, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING! I can fit up to about 6-7 letters per pear, keep in mind anything longer than that gets a little hard to read. 4-5 letters per word is ideal. Words will be printed in lower case. Please see additional photos for ideas. There will be a place at checkout to enter the four words you choose. Remember, if they are too long, I will use a smaller sized font that is pictured in the photos above. Three of the most super cute little pears you will ever lay eyes on. Handmade by moi, and then stamped with words. I don't ever use molds or templates to make my sculptures, they are totally handmade from start to finish by me. Made of polymer clay and painted, and finished with a coat of high quality clear varnish. Just line them up on your mantle, somewhere in your cubicle, a window sill, just about anywhere for instant cuteness. You won't be able to stand it. Each pear is about 2" high x 1 1/2" wide.

The maqamaat are an interesting literary genre in classical Arabic literature. They were stories written using rhyming prose and the Maqamaat of Hariri written in the 11th century by Hariri of al-Basra feature a collection of stories revolving around the character of Abu Zayd who wanders from town to town speaking to groups of powerful people while tricking them and pranking them along the way. All the stories are filled with humor and comedy. These stories were vividly narrated and in the scene above, Abu Zayd acts as an arbitrator when he offers a speech on legal discourse when a group of camels is presented to him. This story was illustrated in a 13th century copy of this manuscript. We have aimed to transfer that medieval illustration, which is very colorful, to this woodburned rendition done by us in our workshop and put on this beautiful waxed tray. The tray is for decorative purposes but since there is no paint involved and we have finished the piece in a food safe wax - it can be used as a cheese plate of food tray for your entertaining purposes.
