Crayon Rocks are simply the best coloring tool for young children! They are vibrantly colored and make beautifully textured art work similar to oil pastels. These all natural soy wax crayons are made from USA grown soybeans and colored with natural mineral powders sourced locally. Designed by a special education teacher for her students to strengthen the tripod grip muscles in young children thus preparing fingers and hands for handwriting. The shape allows small fingers to apply color in large, wide strokes. Recommended by occupational therapists and preschool teachers around the world to develop fine motor skills. Crayon Rocks are non-toxic and conform to ASTM D 4236, EN71 and CPSIA. They are made on a hill in rural Kentucky, U.S.A. Although the size of the crayon may seem small, there is actually more wax than in a major brand stick crayon, plus there is no annoying paper to remove! Our crayon size and shape was very carefully selected for the developmental needs of young children ages 3 to 9. WARNING: Choking Hazard. Not for children under 3 years. Use with appropriate supervision. 20 crayons (our 16 basic colors: 8 primaries and 8 pastels: red, pink, blue, sky, green, grass, egg yolk yellow, sunshine yellow, orange, peach, purple, pastel purple, brown, tan, black, gray) and 4 extra crayons (another red, pink, white and silver) in a red gingham bag. 95% of materials used are renewable and compostable!
