This is such a clever design! When we first invented it we were very pleased and it's proved to be one of our most popular designs. It features a full colour print of gorgeous postage stamps from all around the world showing people, from times past and present, using fans. Everyone needs a fan with stamps on... their very own fan mail, ha ha !! (groan...) The stamp design is full colour printed onto the front fan paper, the reverse is plain white, with our signature ladybug stamp on the back. This elegant hand fan is perfect for summer, it's small size means it slips neatly into your handbag. When not in use it's a fun way to brighten up your home. Is this a gift for yourself or a friend? We can send it directly and include a short personal note: no extra charge. Each fan is hand made, and folded by us, and comes in a hand-coloured cardboard presentation box. The fan sticks we use are made from the finest sustainable Sandalwood, and these are crafted in Seville, Southern Spain using traditional methods. So we like to think that each fan is infused with a little passion of Flamenco! Our first effort was a ridiculous failure -the blend of geometry and dexterity needed is quite fiendish! But we persevered, and were lucky enough to be taught the art of fan making by some of the true craftsmen who still practice this art. We've now been making fans for 9 years.
