Woodburned Giraffe and Baby Art

This plaque adds a touch of beautiful wildlife to any room. This woodburned giraffe and baby calf image is rendered on a heart shaped piece of wood. After the plaque was woodburned, acrylic paint was skillfully applied for a beautiful ombre effect. This plaque hangs from a knotted length of twine through a pair of metal eye bails. The design has been clear coated with matte to protect the paint yet preserve the contrast of the wood burned areas.
