Recycled Glass Bowl

This is a recycled glass bowl that I made from a patio door that was destined for the landfill. My goal is to keep as much out of the landfill as possible, especially glass items that are very likely to end up there. This item has been fused and then slumped into a bowl. No two items will be alike. Part of the fun of working with recycled glass is seeing the different shapes and sizes that the pieces make. There are different size pieces and shapes of glass and the edges may be slightly off on the measurements (note - there won't be a huge difference, but beware that some of the sides may not be perfect). These pieces should not be used to hold liquid. They may have small spots missing that would cause the liquid to leak out. The approximate size of the bowl is 10.5 x 10.5 and is approximately 2" deep. Please check out my other recycled glass projects. I can also do custom work.
