He is the national diety of Tibet. The Dalai Lama and Gyalwa Karmapa are said to be his incarnations. He is shown here in his standing two-armed manifestation. In his right hand is a crystal rosary symbolizing his unceasing compassion. His left hand holds a curving lotus stem with flowers in bud, fully open and already closed symbolizing his manifesting the compassion of the Buddhas of the past, present and future.
