This prayer flags honors the great Christian mystic Meister Eckhart (1260- c. 1328). His understanding of God and the world around him resonates deeply with people of all faiths throughout many centuries. This prayer flag contains the following quotes: "There exists only the present instant... A Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and will be a thousand years hence." "Do exactly what you would do if you felt most secure." Our workshop is part of a community development project run by the Sisters of Charity (proyectosantonino.org), for families with special needs children. This project supports several of these families and ALL of our proceeds go directly to the people making the prayer flags. Each strand of prayer flags consists of nine panels, each 6"-5", and the strand is approximately 54" long. They look great indoors or outdoors!
