This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped multi panel canvas art set features a window overlooking a River with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Philippe hugonnard is a French photographer based in Paris. Born in 1972, his interest in new technologies LED him to take up digital photography at a very early age and eventually receive a diploma in applied arts. He explores the many ways in which this medium makes it possible to create original works of art. He loves traveling the world and seeks to capture the dizzying beauty of wide open spaces, the tumult of megalopolises and signs of human absence and presence. In his desire to discover new things and share these discoveries with others, he presents a changing world: our world. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

About the PainterPaul C¨¦zanne (19 January 1839 ¨C 22 October 1906) was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th-century conception of artistic endeavour to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. C¨¦zanne's often repetitive, exploratory brushstrokes are highly characteristic and clearly recognizable. He used planes of colour and small brushstrokes that build up to form complex fields. The paintings convey C¨¦zanne's intense study of his subjects.About the PaintingThis painting represents an avenue on the grounds of Paul C¨¦zanne's family estate in southern France in Aix-en-Provence. In this view, he carefully recorded the color and light of the wintry scene, with its tracery of bare branches against the sky. To create an ordered pictorial design, he selected this particular view, emphasizing its rigorous horizontal and vertical structures. In depicting the chestnut trees, he employed multiple viewpoints; this collapses depth, meshing the two parallel rows of trees into a web that seems to exist in one plane. This characteristic innovation produced a rhythmic synthesis of form in both two and three dimensions.Neron Art online gallery features the oil paintings of our commissioned professional artists. About the PainterF¨¦lix Edouard Vallotton (December 28, 1865 ¨C December 29, 1925) was a Swiss/French painter and printmaker associated with Les Nabis. He was an important figure in the development of the modern woodcut.About the PaintingVallotton's paintings of the post-Nabi period found admirers, and were generally respected for their truthfulness and their technical qualities, but the severity of his style was frequently criticized. Typical is the reaction of the critic who, writing in the March 23, 1910 issue of Neue Z¨¹rcher Zeitung, complained that Vallotton "paints like a policeman, like someone whose job it is to catch forms and colors. Everything creaks with an intolerable dryness ... the colors lack all joyfulness." In its uncompromising character his art prefigured the New Objectivity that flourished in Germany during the 1920s, and has a further parallel in the work of Edward Hopper...Neron Art online gallery features the oil paintings of our commissioned professional artists.
