This unique piece of art is HAND CUT out of Duct Tape! It is then covered with a sealant to protect from pealing, dust and moisture which gives it a painted look. This prayer flag is a grateful reminder of the peace Jesus promised us, and the peace Jesus left with us. It contains the following verses... "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you, do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John; 14:2 "Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Chesterton The images on this prayer flag are block-printed and stamped by hand on each bright panel. These prayer flags are made in a small shop in Juarez, Mexico, a city ravaged by poverty and violence. The women in our shop take tremendous pride in producing the best quality prayer flags available at a modest price. They are made of a durable weight cotton poplin so they will not 'scrunch up' or tear in the wind. They are hand dyed with permanent, non-toxic dyes and they last many months outside in wind and rain before fading gradually. Our workshop is part of a community development project run by the Sisters of Charity (proyectosantonino.org), for families with special needs children. This project supports several of these families and ALL of our proceeds go directly to the people making the prayer flags. Each strand of prayer flags consists of nine panels, each 6"-5", and the strand is approximately 54" long. They look great indoors or outdoors!

Each sign is engraved -NEVER PRINTED- into real leather. Our leather sealers protect the engraving, and a simple dry dusting is all that is required for cleaning. The frame measures 9" x 17" except for the Leather Vineyard and Design #104 signs which are 9" x 11.5" All frames come ready to hang. Our unique process of burning images into leather for striking artwork. We do not print or paint onto the leather at all, all the info is burnt into the leather.
