WiLDWooD was born of a love of creating with wood, paint, color, and words. Each art block, a unique and organic design...perfect in it's imperfections. Each measures 5.5" x 8"...and is 1.5" wood...painted with a few layers & distressed giving each a unique look & finish. I describe them as perfect in their imperfections because they are not "perfectly" cut pieces of wood and their finish is not "perfectly" painted. There may be a knot in the wood, or a dent, or a bit of a corner that has chipped off. All of these organic "imperfections", along with the vintage-look distressed finish give the WiLDWooD -WiLDWoRDS- art blocks a time-worn, "perfect" feel. Each has a sawtooth wall hanger...but, will stand alone, too. They make great gifts for any occasion...and I am delighted to wrap it beautifully for you...and send it directly to your loved one. The blocks are handcut, sanded, painted, decorated, and sealed. The colors used for this design are off white, sand, nutmeg, and caramel. Raffia is added for the "n" and the "a". Although his piece is sprayed with a sealant, extended outdoor use for this item is not recommended. Blocks range in height from 3 1/2 inches to 6 inches and are each 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. When blocks are together, the set measures 24 1/2 inches long by 6 inches high. The blocks are not attached to each other. Each piece is signed and dated on the bottom. This is not a toy. Small pieces are used to make this piece.
