Paisley is one of my favorite motifs, and the combination of turquoise, orange and purple in this paisley art quilt wall hanging is stunning. I say art deco as the border and a few of the middle fabrics are based on the art deco look. Whether for a wall or table, this vibrancy of the colors in this piece will serve as a focal point in your room. Using two inch squares set on point, I transitioned the colors from turquoise to blue to orange to yellow and back again. The outside border is a blue and turquoise art deco flower design and I used a light gold fabric for both the inner border and binding strip. Small rings were sewn at the top back for hanging the quilt. I can see this piece in many rooms of a house. Hanging this in a baby's room would be stunning, as well as a bathroom or sun room. Or brighten up your office! The abundance of colors in this piece would certainly add color to any dark room or wall. Measurements: 20.5 x 37.5". 100% handmade by me, original design!
