Each wood round is created, with care, one at a time. This wood round was created by Ruben using pyrography, the art or technique of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point. - Each wood round is packaged in an organza bag and perfect for gift giving. Although we strive to make each wood round as close to the image you see here, there may be some variation. - All these slices are from sourwood trees. The bark is completely intact all the way around and is very pronounced and unique - Each slice is about 3/16" thick. The diameter of each is between 3"-4".These are all natural raw wood - Symbol Meaning: The Green Man carries different meanings for different people in different cultures. The Green Man is thought primarily to represent the irrepressible nature of life with its cyclical pattern of birth, death and re-birth/renewal. This link comes from the Green Man's vegetative aspect and the seasonal cycle which most plants go through each year beginning in the spring, peaking at the height of summer and dying back in the dark of the winter, only to return again the next spring.

People are very fascinated with Aztec Feather Paintings due to not only for their technical skill, but apparently for their delicacy and fragility. With a wide variety of themes, contents and styles, feather drawing is a very precious type of artwork with high artistic achievements and an appreciative value. Every one of the painting is one of a kind and by the artist "Jose Carmelo Canales" who started creating these painting in the year 2000 and it is unusual because it is painted not on canvas, wood, or paper, but on an actual feather. Stunning Kokapelli (Native American Flute Player) with vibrant and eye pleasing color as backgrounds are painted on this feather The entire feather measures approximately 12 inches long by 2 inches wide at its broadest point. Unfortunately, these photographs do not accurately show the full range of luminous color present in this piece!
