Jewish Star of David (LARGE), Stained Glass Interfaith Tree Topper, Hand Made Christmas Decoration for Combined Religions.
Brand: Cityfree Stained Glass
Color: 1/2 Cobalt 1/2 Pale Blue
Hand made in beautiful stained glass! Every material I use is made in the USA. Using no plastic, or painted parts this tree topper will make a wonderful family heirloom and will last many decades if well taken care of. I have been making and selling these since 2006 when I gave one to welcome my Jewish sister-in-law into our mixed religion family.....she loved the thought so much, and I am so happy and honored to see many others are also enjoying them! The idea of placing a Star of David atop a Holiday tree has been around for many, many years.....since the early 50's that I am aware of, and probably long before then. Each star takes around 3 hours from start to finish. Each of the 12 pieces of glass are hand cut, ground smooth, foiled and soldered. This listing is for my LARGE version, for a large tree (6-9 feet) and measures 9" diameter. Weighs 5.5 oz. This star uses PALE BLUE for half and COBALT glass for half. (Please feel free to choose another color, I am happy to create a listing for you.) THE SOLDER LINES ARE SILVER. THE BASE OPENING IS 3/4". The wire is securely soldered deep into the back of the star and is not adjustable. If the spike on top of your tree is weak the topper will surely tip. I include care instructions and more tips others have shared to get it to sit perfectly. Package will ship USPS priority, insured mail. Shipping rates are taken from the USPS website. Out of US packages are shipped USPS priority mail international. Please feel free to ask any que...

"Be Here Now" Prayer Flag. All proceeds to families in Mexico. Free domestic shipping.
Brand: Guerilla Prayer Flags
This prayer flag symbolizes the mysterious ability of bees to remain absolutely present through all of life's 'busy-ness'. Be Here Now. The universal spiritual commandment, we simply can notice that we are indeed All Here Now. The images on this prayer flag are block-printed and stamped by hand on each bright panel. These prayer flags are made in a small shop in Juarez, Mexico, a city ravaged by poverty and violence. The women in our shop take tremendous pride in producing the best quality prayer flags available at a modest price. They are made of a durable weight cotton poplin so they will not 'scrunch up' or tear in the wind. They are hand dyed with permanent, non-toxic dyes and they last many months outside in wind and rain before fading gradually. Our workshop is part of a community development project run by the Sisters of Charity (proyectosantonino.org), for families with special needs children. This project supports several of these families and ALL of our proceeds go directly to the people making the prayer flags. Each strand of prayer flags consists of nine panels, each 6"-5", and the strand is approximately 54" long. They look great indoors or outdoors! If you would like this set of prayer flags in a color combination other than the one shown, check out our custom color options offered for $3.00 over our regular price. The following colors are available: Scarlet, Deep Orange, Golden Yellow, Bright Green, Turquoise and Plum. Our panels are dyed twice so each panel ha...

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Prayer Flags With sugar skulls and traditional Mexican rhymes.
Brand: Guerilla Prayer Flags
Our little workshop in Juarez has gotten orders for this Day of the Dead prayer flag from all over the world, so uniquely Mexican, and yet resonating deeply with people everywhere. The symbols and traditional rhymes (rimas) of Dia de los Muertos express the fragile nature of humanity, the light heartedness of the Mexican people, and the eternity of life itself. This prayer flag contains the rhymes: "Solo los muertos no tienen problemas." (only the dead have no problems) "Los muertos al cajon y los vivos al fieston." (the dead to the coffin, the living to the celebration) "El muerto al pozo y el vivo el gozo." (the dead to the well, the living to the bliss) "La que mata no es la muerte; si no la mala suerte." (it's not death that catches up with us, but bad luck) The images on this prayer flag are block-printed and stamped by hand on each bright panel.
