Hand made in beautiful stained glass! Every material I use is made in the USA. Using no plastic, or painted parts this tree topper will make a wonderful family heirloom and will last many decades if well taken care of. I have been making and selling these since 2006 when I gave one to welcome my Jewish sister-in-law into our mixed religion family.....she loved the thought so much, and I am so happy and honored to see many others are also enjoying them! The idea of placing a Star of David atop a Holiday tree has been around for many, many years.....since the early 50's that I am aware of, and probably long before then. Each star takes around 3 hours from start to finish. Each of the 12 pieces of glass are hand cut, ground smooth, foiled and soldered. This listing is for my LARGE version, for a large tree (6-9 feet) and measures 9" diameter. Weighs 5.5 oz. This star uses PALE BLUE for half and COBALT glass for half. (Please feel free to choose another color, I am happy to create a listing for you.) THE SOLDER LINES ARE SILVER. THE BASE OPENING IS 3/4". The wire is securely soldered deep into the back of the star and is not adjustable. If the spike on top of your tree is weak the topper will surely tip. The mat border is cut from purple card stock in a fleur di les design and backed by violet card stock. The piece measures 8"X10" and is ready to place in a frame of your choice. I will insert it into a vinyl sleeve with a backer board and use a sturdy mailer to protect during mailing via USPS with tracking.

This prayer flag symbolizes the mysterious ability of bees to remain absolutely present through all of life's 'busy-ness'. Be Here Now. The universal spiritual commandment, we simply can notice that we are indeed All Here Now. The images on this prayer flag are block-printed and stamped by hand on each bright panel. These prayer flags are made in a small shop in Juarez, Mexico, a city ravaged by poverty and violence. The women in our shop take tremendous pride in producing the best quality prayer flags available at a modest price. They are made of a durable weight cotton poplin so they will not 'scrunch up' or tear in the wind. They are hand dyed with permanent, non-toxic dyes and they last many months outside in wind and rain before fading gradually. Our workshop is part of a community development project run by the Sisters of Charity (proyectosantonino.org), for families with special needs children.
