We up-cycle the beautiful, weathered pages to create unique prints that glow with the patina of another age, so no two are alike. The result is a beautiful and interesting home decor print. Definitely a conversation starter! Our prints are currently created using vintage books rescued from library recycling. Because of their age and condition, they may have flaws such as foxing (browning and spotting), nicked edges and the occasional corner turn. However, we feel these are desirable qualities, contributing to the inherent character of each print. The print(s) you purchase will be of the image you select, but the vintage book page it is printed on will be different. Every piece is an original work of art. We offer two shadow box styles as well as an unframed prints. This shadow box is 6x8. This unique piece has depth to is as you can look inside the actual frame to see the print. I had a lot of fun creating this unique mix media painting. It is hand painted on 8" x 10" canvas. Each painting is paint-to-order so each will look a little different.

Celebrating a person or an occasion or just life in general - all these were on my mind when I created this intimate collage of a heartburst candle. It's about being happy for any or no reason at all. I layered and pieced a variety of fabrics here: semi-sheers, "silk", and denim. This was then embellished with lace and lots of exuberant embroidery using different weights of threads to build up texture. As the final touch I added clusters of iridescent beads to the heart "rays". This collage is 5" x 7" but comes mounted on a white fabric background as that extra "blank" space really makes it pop in an 8" x 10" frame. No glass is necessary as it would smoosh the raised surface. The provided cardboard cushion not only protects during shipping but also gives the extra depth needed in a glassless frame.

One of my boys did this beautiful vintage looking old world ocean waves art on thin plywood and then framed it. This has been done totally with recycled wood products. We love turning scrap wood into new beautiful things that bring enjoyment. This piece is 13 inches by 18 inches in size. The frame was stained a dark walnut color. A wall mount bracket was added to the back from easy hanging. Great to add some old ocean art charm to any room in the house or a great gift idea. Thanks so much for checking it out.
