There is a backing board provided that the canvas can be taped or glued to using elmer's all purpose. With this board your finished painting will be ready to frame. The acrylic paints and quality artist brush are provided. If you have extra brushes that would add to your experience use them. Most of the acrylic colors are premixed- any color mixing can be done right on the picture. The instructions are comprehensive, yet easy to follow. There are color pictures showing each step of the painting, and you will build your painting from the ground up, one color at a time. These kits can be painted by beginners if they can follow directions and control a brush- they contain everything you need to finish the painting successfully. You will be actually learning to paint with acrylics. We use Deco Art Americana Acrylic Craft Paint which is the best on the market.
